Closer to the beach there's the CMX Pinnacle 14 cinema on Gulf Shores Parkway, escape rooms at The Wharf and arcades in Orange Beach and Fort Morgan. Weekdays, the glassblowing studio in Orange Beach gives free demos. Most small museums close on weekends.

Mobile is a little over an hour's drive. The Carnival Museum is indoors, and the attraction pass covers museums like GulfQuest. The harbor cruise has an air-conditioned cabin, but it's still a boat: in a storm it may not sail, so keep a museum as plan B. Prices checked on November 3, 2026.
